This is my last post on Nicole and Tyler's Wedding at The Taylor Grady House. I know I've mentioned the rain a lot, and hate to dwell on it, but it really was the theme of the party... well, the rain not winning was the theme! Too much water came into the tent, and the band had to stop playing for safety reasons (note to future brides, if you have a stage, the band can usually keep going...) but the party in no way stopped. With the sound system from the ceremony and an ipod, the dancing began!My favorite part of the dancing was this hat. Whoever put it on became a dancing machine!Nicole and Tyler's friends were awesome. Not only did they have a great time at the wedding, celebrating with the couple, they also were so helpful to me! During the garter toss, Tyler's friend Noah held an umbrella over me so I could get photos without the camera getting wet, and another friend held an umbrella for Nicole!Look at the height Nicole got on the bouquet toss!Congratulations Tyler and Nicole!www.CourtneyGoldman.com

Their baker Susan Hodges makes the perfect wedding cake - both phenomenally beautiful, and absolutely mouth-watering. This one was white cake with strawberry filling - or at least the layer I had a piece from was!There was a brief power outage within the tent, so I got this shot of the Japanese lantern and the rain outside the tent. Nicole and Tyler had planned on an outside wedding, but the rain didn't allow for that. Luckily, the interior of The Taylor Grady House is beautiful, and a perfect backdrop for their lovely, romantic ceremony. The magnificent floral arrangements were created by European Floral Design.Tyler was a little "turned around" when he entered for the ceremony. He started off on the bride's side! Luckily, his best men were there to help him out.I love this moment between Tyler and his dad!The elegant bride walking down the aisle with her father.Are they a happy couple or what?Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Evans!

What a crazy, fun, rainy wedding Nicole and Tyler had last Saturday! An outdoor wedding in the spring in Georgia can be beautiful. There are so many colorful trees and flowers blooming, and the weather can be just perfect. On the other hand, it could rain -- and rain it did! And the rain brought with it some other problems. But what didn't it do? It didn't make the wedding any less special. It didn't slow the party down. And it didn't stop us from getting outdoor photos - on the porch of The Taylor Grady House!I love these shoes that Nicole wore with her wedding dress. Not only are they beautiful, they had great padding inside! Nicole was definitely thinking ahead, and she didn't have to trade beauty for comfort - she found them both.Getting all the buttons done up on the dress is not a one person task.The gorgeous flowers were done by the amazing Maggie over at European Floral Design.Nicole and her MamaWe still got the photos with the flowering trees in the background! And is Nicole stunning, or what?!The men - looking great in their suits from Perno's Formal Wear.And Tyler - a handsome, and happy groom! More to come...

If you didn't see it, I was published in the last issue of Brides Atlanta, and now the newest one has hit the newsstands and it has my photos in it too. Here's the cover.The editors at Brides Atlanta called me and requested some great first dance photos - and I knew exactly who to pick -- Jackie and Greg! Jackie and Greg's reception at The Foundry Park Inn was beautiful, and they were so cute when they did their first dance! Also, Tony Washington from Entertainment Purposes only DJs worked the reception, and he's one of my favorite DJs! Here are my photos from the article on First Dances.This next photo is one you'll remember from the last time I was published. They took a photo from Joan and Alan's Real Wedding Feature and made it "The Moment" on the last page of the magazine. The editor of the National magazine Brides liked this photo so much she called and asked if she could use it for ALL the local Brides magazines! So whether you're looking at Brides Atlanta, Brides Boston, or Brides Southern California, you'll see my photo as the lead picture for the Real Dads Reflect story!

I'm getting so excited about this weekend's wedding with Victoria and John! It is going to be at The State Botanical Garden of Georgia, which is a favorite venue of mine. The weather is supposed to be perfect -- sunny with a high of 70! I realized that I hadn't blogged their engagement photos yet, and thought this would be a great time. These photos were also taken at The Garden, but instead of the spring blooms we'll be seeing this weekend, there were gorgeous fall leaves. Here are some of my favorites.
