It was freezing cold on the afternoon of Maggie and Hubert's engagement session at Marietta Square. It was so cold that Hubert's sister who had came along for the session decided after only 2 or 3 minutes that she'd rather just sit in the car! Luckily, Maggie and Hubert were great sports about the cold - especially after I told them it was a great excuse to get close and cuddly. Their photos turned out beautifully, you'd never know I had them sitting on freezing cold stairs or leaning up against a frozen marble wall. We did take a few opportunities to go inside and warm up, including at Rocket Fizz, which turned out to be super colorful and great for some fun photos!Do you need engagement photos? Contact me now!
Kristy and Kyle's Maternity Session at McDaniel Farm Park - Atlanta Maternity Photography
Kristy, Kyle, and I thought it would be fun to do their Atlanta maternity photography session at the same location as their engagement session two years prior. So in late September we went to McDaniel Farm Park and had a great time taking 'fall' photos, despite it being in the mid 80s. We took some of the photos in the same place as their favorite engagement photos,, and the parallel turned out to be adorable. I thought I'd share some of them here with you.First, here are a few photos of the gorgeous Mama Kristy. The photo on the right is one of my favorites from the session -- the "O" is her belly! And the rest are some very cute photos from their fall 2015 engagement session next to the maternity session.Congratulations Kristy and Kyle! I can't wait to meet Joshua, he's a very lucky baby.
Zahra & Rahil - Atlanta Engagement Photography at Centennial Park
I met Zahra and Rahil at Centennial Olympic Park for their Atlanta Engagement Photography session. Zahra looked stunning in her red dress. We had a great time walking around the park taking photos. Quite a few of the park visitors told Zahra how great she looked, and congratulated her and Rahil on their engagement!
She said yes! Daniel's Proposal to Leanne at The Atlanta Botanical Garden
Daniel did such a great job of setting up his surprise proposal to Leanne at The Atlanta Botanical Garden on New Year's Eve. He told her they were going to a corporate event, so they got dressed up and headed out. He'd rented the Japanese Garden for the occasion, but due to a rainy day we went with the Orchid house for the actual proposal. Daniel and I had planned ahead and gone to the gardens together a few days earlier to map out locations, so I was ready when they walked in he went down on a knee! But the surprise didn't end there! Daniel had invited both his family and Leanne's to celebrate with them. After some champagne and enjoying the garden lights that were on display, the group rode around the city in a limo and celebrated Daniel and Leanne's engagement as well as the New Year.Congratulations Daniel and Leanne! Thanks for letting me in on the surprise!
Erin and Collin's Engagement Session at The Atlanta Botanical Garden
Erin and Collin are getting married at The Atlanta Botanical Garden this fall, so we did their engagement session there as well. It was a beautiful day and we had so much fun! Here are some of my favorite photos.
Caroline and Stephen's Engagement Session in Piedmont Park in Atlanta
Caroline and Stephen are getting married in September and wanted a spring engagement session. Our original date was rained out, but we couldn't have asked for a better "rain date." It was gorgeous last weekend! It turns out that like me, Stephen was a "lifer" at Lovett - so we had lots to talk about. (Being a lifer at Lovett means that we attended from Kindergarten through Senior Year!) Stephen was actually working at Lovett when Caroline's neighbors (also her friends and bridesmaids) introduced the two of them. Five happy years later, Stephen proposed to Caroline by carving "Marry Me" into a Jack O' Lantern. How fun!
Margaret and David’s Engagement Session in Stone Mountain Park
I photographed Margaret and David's engagement session in Stone Mountain Park in late December. We were all so surprised at how beautiful the day was! Just one day before it was gray and cold and no good at all. As you can see the sun came out and made the session fabulous. Margaret and David spent some of their first dates at Stone Mountain Park, so they knew exactly where they wanted to have their photos taken. They were very easy to photograph -- so natural in front of the camera and hardly needing any direction from me! Here are a few of my favorites from the day.Congratulations Margaret and David! Looking forward to the wedding this spring.www.CourtneyGoldman.com
Rebecca and Rob are Engaged!
Rebecca and Rob and I went to The Atlanta Botanical Gardens for their Engagement Session and we couldn't have asked for better weather. We had a great time walking around and exploring the gardens and taking photos. Rebecca and Rob were lots of fun, joking around with each other and me, and very cute in front of the camera! Here are some of my favorites from their session. I'm looking forward to the wedding this summer at the Ritz Buckhead!Congratulations y'all!www.CourtneyGoldman.com
