I know that tradition states that the bride and groom should not see each other before the ceremony on their wedding day. I understand that this tradition can add to the excitement and anticipation of the wedding ceremony, which can be fun! It also means that family and wedding party photos twill have to be taken after the ceremony, while all of the guests are waiting.When the couple is open to it, I often suggest that they see each other before the wedding. I like to improve the flow of the day and minimize waiting guests, but I also like to keep the excitement of the tradition!On the day of the wedding, both the bride and the groom get all ready to go, without seeing each other at all. Then, I pick out a pretty and private spot for the bride and groom to have their first look. I don't let other folks watch, but I do take pictures! This moment is so sweet, so special, and so private between the two people who are about to get married and spend their life together.
