Newborn Baby Thomas in Athens, GA
I met newborn Baby Thomas when he was one week new! He's a sweet addition to one of my favorite families. I thought it would be fun to see what his big brother William looked like at the same age. I thought it was so funny to find such this mirror image photo! How adorable.Above is baby Thomas, and below is his big brother William, back when he was also at just one week old. The photo is even on the same blanket I think!I've been photographing William and Thomas' family for 3 years now. The newborn photo above was in December of 2012. This adorable photo below is William at 6 months old.The photo above here is William at 18 months, and in the one below he's 2 years old.The photo above is technically the first photo of Thomas, before he was ready to make his world debut. And William is almost 2 and a half years old. And now, as seen below, they are a family of 4. And William is pretty proud of being a great big brother.Congratulations Megan and Brad.
Baby Sadie's Newborn Session in Atlanta, Georgia
I know I've said it before, but one of the most fun things about being a photographer is watching families grow. Caroline and Stephen were married in September of 2011, and on April 23, 2015 their family grew by one beautiful baby girl - Sadie. I was thrilled when they asked me to take newborn portraits of their baby girl - and of course some photos of the family. Sadie was a total sweetheart. She snoozed most of the session, so we got those sweet sleepy newborn photos I love. Caroline had this absolutely adorable owl hat - how cute! Congratulations Caroline and Stephen!

Amy was my very best friend growing up. Most of my childhood memories involve her! She and I spent hours together at the pool all summer long. We were in ballet and brownies together and we even started a babysitting business together. I know (having spent so many nights watching the neighborhood kids together) that she is going to be an amazing mom! Baby Axley must have known too, because he surprised us all and came 4 weeks early; he just couldn't wait. He's a healthy and beautiful baby and I'm so happy for Amy and Scott to have started such a wonderful family.Here are some of my favorite photos from the session we did when he was about 5 weeks old.Amy's Aunt and Grandmother made this blanket, and I thought it was so cute.
