When you are invited to a baby shower there is always the difficult decision to make regarding what to get the new parents to be. You can get an adorable outfit that the parents will love, but that the baby will only maybe wear once - assuming it fits them during the right season. You can get something very useful and boring from the register, which is sweet and helpful, but not as much fun for you or the parents. Or, you can be totally creative and get them something not on the registry that they will cherish for a lifetime - a newborn session gift certificate from Courtney Goldman Photography! That's what Benjamin's mom's friend did for her - and just look at these beautiful images they'll have of their handsome baby forever. It's the perfect gift for any new parents to be.
Newborn Baby Boy in Decatur, GA
I photographed this handsome boy right after Christmas. As always, I went to his parents house and brought all my blankets and props with me. I know that new parents love the convenience of not having to leave home to get these beautiful images that look like they were taken in a studio. I also take some lifestyle photographs of the baby with his family, but these parents preferred that I not post photos that included them. I had such fun with this sweet boy. I hope you love the images as much as I do!Contact me to photograph your newborn!
Newborn Baby Winslow Lyn in Alpharetta, GA
What a cute Christmas baby! I had such fun taking photos of sweet baby Winslow when she was 15 days old. Thank goodness we had that little tiara, because she looked like such a princess in her tutu! And we couldn't resist a few santa photos. I love the idea that every year these photos will come out with the Christmas decorations as Winslow grows up. I'm sure she'll love them!Contact Courtney to take photos of your newborn!
Newborn Baby Harper in Marietta, GA
Baby Harper's family is one of my favorite kind of clients - a referral. It means so much to me when a client gives my name to a friend of theirs to get photos that they will love and cherish just as much as my client has. Of course being an adorable baby helps too. I love all my newborn clients! Here are some of my favorite sessions from Harper's Newborn Atlanta Photography Session.
Baby Sadie's Newborn Session in Atlanta, Georgia
I know I've said it before, but one of the most fun things about being a photographer is watching families grow. Caroline and Stephen were married in September of 2011, and on April 23, 2015 their family grew by one beautiful baby girl - Sadie. I was thrilled when they asked me to take newborn portraits of their baby girl - and of course some photos of the family. Sadie was a total sweetheart. She snoozed most of the session, so we got those sweet sleepy newborn photos I love. Caroline had this absolutely adorable owl hat - how cute! Congratulations Caroline and Stephen!

Newborn Baby Charlie in Atlanta, GA
I photographed Courtney and Brent's wedding in the Fall of 2011. And last week, I photographed their son Charlie. The only thing better than seeing a couple get married, is seeing their love and their family grow! Courtney's sister, Michelle, was also there to help out and get some time to love on Baby Charlie too! He was almost two weeks old at the session. Here are a few of the photos.
Newborn Baby Jackson in Atlanta, GA
So cute!
Newborn Baby Ravi in Atlanta, Georgia
Earlier this year, Rakhi and Vann McNeill welcomed a newborn baby boy into their family. I photographed Rakhi and Vann's Weddings (both Christian Ceremony and Hindu) back in 2009, and was just thrilled to celebrate the arrival of their son Ravi! I do love a newborn with a full head of hair! Here are some of my favorite photos of the handsome Ravi, with his deep brown eyes and lucious head of dark hair. (Here are a few posts of their weddings: Rakhi’s Bridal, Sneak Peek 1, Mendhi Party, Sneak Peek 2, Wedding Portraits, The Baraat, The Hindu Ceremony, Reception)
Baby Henry's Newborn Session in Atlanta, Georgia
Remember Baby Thomas? (That's him in the first photo) He's all grown up, has a head of blonde hair, and now -- a baby brother! I love how excited he looks!! And Henry is just as adorable as Thomas was at the same age. Here are some of my favorites from the session.
Baby Matthew's Portrait Session in Atlanta
Matthew was about 6 weeks when I photographed him. Still tiny and adorable, but less willing to get into the smooshy newborn poses I love so much, we got some great photos of this alert little guy! He was much happier in mom and dad's arms, resulting in some very sweet family photos. What a cutie!
Newborn Baby Mileva in Atlanta, GA
Ann and Ryan had a beautiful baby girl just two weeks ago. I've known Ann for as long as I can remember, and I photographed her and Ryan's wedding two years ago. I could not be more proud and excited for them. Here's a sneak peek of Mileva's portrait session.
Newborn Baby Roen in Decatur, GA

There's nothing more precious than a newborn baby.
Newborn Baby Axley
Amy was my very best friend growing up. Most of my childhood memories involve her! She and I spent hours together at the pool all summer long. We were in ballet and brownies together and we even started a babysitting business together. I know (having spent so many nights watching the neighborhood kids together) that she is going to be an amazing mom! Baby Axley must have known too, because he surprised us all and came 4 weeks early; he just couldn't wait. He's a healthy and beautiful baby and I'm so happy for Amy and Scott to have started such a wonderful family. Here are some of my favorite photos from the session we did when he was about 5 weeks old.Amy's Aunt and Grandmother made this blanket, and I thought it was so cute. He's sleeping in a field of dasies! This is my favorite photo of the day. I can't pinpoint exactly why, but I just love it!Here he's totally relaxed in Mama's arms. Just chillin'Being this cute just isn't easy.Congratulations Amy and Scott!www.CourtneyGoldman.com
I have a new nephew!
Here are some more of the family photos I promised yesterday. A little explanation... My next door neighbors growing up were like a second family to me. We saw them every day, and shared all of our most important moments with them. So I refer to Dona and Bill as my other parents, and call Crawford my big brother. That being said, I have one beautiful niece - Crawford and Amy's daughter Lucinda. (There are tons of blog posts with photos of her.) I also have a nephew - my sister Heather and her husband Ryan's son Sylvan, the star of the last post. As of July 7th, 2010, I now have another nephew! Crawford and Amy's son Winter was born last week, and here are a few shots from the hospital. I'll be doing a more official session this weeks, so more to come for sure.Lucinda contemplates becoming a big sister.Lucinda has some fun with dad.The happy family!Winter - isn't he beautiful?A little grumpy...I call this one, "Put me back!"
