Sara and Austin’s Wedding Reception at Graduate Athens in Athens, GA
Sara and Austin's Wedding Reception was held in the Pavillon at Graduate Athens. The weather was gorgeous; It was early May and had not yet gotten too terribly hot. They sat down to dinner after their first dance and parent dances. After dinner their family gave beautiful and funny toasts and they cut the cake that Austin's sister made. The rest of the night was a dance party! Sara even changed into a party dress -- which also showed off her 'something blue' shoes. Congratulations Sara and Austin!
Sara and Austin's Wedding Portraits on UGA's North Campus and Ceremony at Graduate Athens in Athens, GA
Sara and Austin went the less traditional route, and didn't have a wedding party. They saw each other before the ceremony (even skipping the first look since they both got ready in the same suite!) We went over to The University of Georgia's North Campus for some portraits of the bride an groom. Then we took family portraits at Graduate Athens, where they also had their ceremony and reception. Photos of the reception will be in the next post!

Baby Sadie's Newborn Session in Atlanta, Georgia
I know I've said it before, but one of the most fun things about being a photographer is watching families grow. Caroline and Stephen were married in September of 2011, and on April 23, 2015 their family grew by one beautiful baby girl - Sadie. I was thrilled when they asked me to take newborn portraits of their baby girl - and of course some photos of the family. Sadie was a total sweetheart. She snoozed most of the session, so we got those sweet sleepy newborn photos I love. Caroline had this absolutely adorable owl hat - how cute! Congratulations Caroline and Stephen!
